Our pheasant hunting tradition dates back to 1949, and it remains one of the most anticipated events for our members each year. For the past 25 years, we’ve partnered with local pheasant farms to source strong, well-flying birds that provide a truly authentic hunt.

 

Each season, pheasants are released between River Garden Farms and the Sutter Basin area of Knights Landing - prime terrain with a limited number of hunters to maintain a great bird-to-member ratio. Expect classic, challenging hunts through ditches and open fields where skill and persistence pay off.
