Every spring, as the days grow longer and the water warms, thousands of striped bass make their journey from the Pacific Ocean into our local rivers to spawn - a migration that signals one of the most exciting times of the year for local anglers. These powerful fish can reach 30 pounds or more, known for their fierce strikes, drag-screaming runs, and unforgettable fights on the line.

At the Knights Landing Sportsmen’s Club, we celebrate this annual migration with our Annual Striper Derby - a community favorite that brings together families, friends, and fishing enthusiasts from all across the region. Whether you’re out to land a trophy fish, make lasting memories, or just enjoy a day on the water, the Striper Derby offers something for everyone.

Two days. Multiple rivers. One great competition.
Join us for the annual Striper Derby and fish the Sacramento River, Feather River, and Delta alongside anglers from across the region.

Sunday lunch provided for all participants.
A competitive but laid-back weekend at the KLSC clubhouse.
